The whole area is limestone and over thousands of years this has eroded away to form systems that are currently the longest and most complex on earth. Preliminary requirements for Cave Diving:
Cave certification (IANTD, NACD, NSS-CDS, GUE...) Depending on the trip you will need sidemount cave certification.
