Dive Master

Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational diving begins with the IANTD Divemaster program. Working closely with an Instructor you'll expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level. Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities qualifying you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers.

During the Divemaster program you learn dive leadership skills through both classroom and independent study and complete water skills and stamina exercises as well as training exercises that stretch your ability to organize and solve problems. Your theoretical and practical knowledge of diving, planning, physiology, decompression, boat procedures, rescue readiness will increase immensely and you'll put this knowledge into action through an intern ship or series of practical training exercises.

This course is a must for those who are intensively occupied with diving as a sport or those who want to eventually work in the dive industry.

Prerequisites:

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
IANTD Rescue Diver or equivalent
Medical first aid and oxygen provider certification (not older then 2 years)
Minimum of 60 logged dives

Program Content:

Theory lectures
Landexercices
Pool and open water training
Final examination (minimum of 80%)

Duration:

No time limit (instructor decision)
12 hours of theory lectures
Assistance at least in two full IANTD courses (instructor decision)

Limits:

Maximum depth of 39m
Max. O2 partial pressure in bottom depth of 1.4 ATA, decompression O2 partial pressure at deco stop with max. 1.6 ATA
All dives within IANTD Oxygen CNS% Clock and OTU’s
Maximum of 4 students per instructor

Requiert equipment:

Doubletank with bridge and isolator
First stage with primary regulator (long hose, 2m) and second regulator (alternative regulator), pressure gauge and inflater hose
Decompression stage tank 50% Nitrox with O2 clean first and second stage
Liftbag with at least 22.5Kg ascending force
Wing/backplate or buoyancy controle device
wetsuit or drysuit
Mask, fins, snorcel
Cutting device
Divecomputer, Stoptimer, Bottomtimer
Wet Notes
One reel with minimum of 40m line
Two line arrows
Decompressiontable ot two divecomputers (recomended)
Compass
Lead

The costs for equipment rental, tank fills, transport from/to car/boat and certification are included in the course fee.
