Rebreathers are changing the way dives are done and are drastically increasing penetration distances for cave divers, depths for tech divers while reducing the amount of gas they have to carry. They are also a boon for videographers and camera men as the lack of bubles means a lack of noise to scare the wildlife away, also having around 4 hours of gas on your back, depth independent, means you can hang around and get that perfect shot.
Mod 1 is the entry level course and is unit specific (currently we can teach on the SF2 Sidemount and Backmount, AP Inspiration and Evolution, ISC Megalodon and the Jetsam KISS unit) and allows you to dive to 40 meters depth. The objective of the course is to teach the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for rebreather diving and to develop basic skills appropriate to diving in recreational levels.
