Apprentice Cave Diver

In general it takes about 4 days to complete a Full Cave Course (in a modular system), however our experience teaches us that some students don't feel secure completing the course in this time. This course is a 2 day program in which 4 training dives are made and understanding the principles of navigation inside a cave is one of the most important parts. This is not a course to learn complex navigation skills but more a course to give you inside information into what is taught at Full Cave level and allow you to do simple jumps and "T"s.

The Apprentice Cave Diver program is time limited and only a year long temporary card is issued. During the following year the full cave course must be completed or the apprentice to cave course repeated.

Costs for equipment rental, gases, certification and studying material are NOT included in the course fee.

Please also note that courses are all charged by the day and the amount of time quoted to complete it is a minimum. If in that time your skills are still not up to the prescribed standards then extra days will be required to complete the course and will be charged at the daily rate. All prices can be found here.
